Worker cooperatives sometimes need specialized support to achieve business sustainability and growth. Through funding from the Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation and in partnership with the Fund for Jobs Worth Owning, we are pleased to offer expanded services and capital resources for worker cooperatives through June 2023. Program participants will receive a needs assessment and a custom package of services focusing on the following areas:
Cooperative governance & decision making
Business financial planning for growth & sustainability
Loan readiness coaching, support in securing financing or a line of credit
Management consulting
Eligibility
Be a worker cooperative incorporated as an LLC or S Corp (check entity info) located in Massachusetts
Have at least one year of operation
Have three or more worker-owners
Priority is given to businesses with 40% or more BIPOC representation (black, indigenous, people of color).
